This is a members only event which is free to attend. To help us to order the correct amount of food, please complete one form for each member who wishes to attend the AGM at Misty Waters, Lloc, Holywell CH8 8RQ. 7 pm start. Complimentary food, with vegetarian options, will be provided. Members will need to buy their own drinks. Presentation of the dressage and show jumping league trophies will be made in addition to the election of the clubs officials & presentation of the clubs annual reports from the chair, treasurer & other members of the committee.
If you are thinking about joining the committee please feel free to approach any of the existing committee members with any questions ahead of the AGM, an open invitation to join the committee will be issued during the AGM and new committee members will be very welcome.See you on the 26th February 2026. £0.00Area 20 Grassroots Dressage & DTM Qualifier
Flint and Denbigh Riding Club are looking for members to represent them at this dressage qualifier to be held at Tushingham Equestrian Centre on Sunday 8th March 2026.
This is the qualifying competition for the British Riding Clubs Winter Championships to be held at Arena Uk on 24th-26th Aril 2026.
We are aiming to have teams & individuals; The grassroots team consists of 4 riders (2 at intro & 2 prelim), with 1 rider completing intro 1, 1 rider completing intro 2, 1 rider completing Prelim A & 1 rider completing Prelim B. When competing as part of a team you will automatically be entered into the individual competition as well. If you enter & we are unable to field a team then entry fee will be refunded in full or you can alter your entry to individual only. Dressage to music (DTM) tests are individual only.

Roz will liaise directly with you to confirm tests. Please note BRC have a 12 month vac rule. All horses must be microchipped and competitors must ensure that they are eligible for classes entered.
Entry fee is £20 per class and you will require a valid competition pass. If you have not yet reached your maximum competition pass refund (£30) then you will receive a £10 refund per class you compete in.

The 2026 Area 20 Horse trials qualifier is being held on Sunday 5th July at Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre, CW6 0SR. As with last year this qualifier is being held in conjunction with the Pony club horse trails qualifier. All members are welcome either as part of a team or as an individual. Each class is £95.00 and you will also require a valid BRC competition pass,

there is a £5 start fee to be paid on the day.

Main Camp Deposit
Book your place on Flint and Denbigh Riding Club’s main camp being held from 30th May – 1st June 2025. A £40 non-refundable deposit per rider is required to reserve your place. Please pay via BACS to Flint and Denbigh Riding Club sort 09-01-29 account 13523934. Four further payments of £60 are then by the end of February, March, April and May (+£20 for non members). We ask that a standing order for 28th of month is set up for these payments to avoid the high administrative costs of Paypal. Alternatively full payment can be made on booking via BACS. Places are limited to a maximum of 26 riders.

Mountain Ride & Social Booking form
This is a members only event which is £5 to attend and will be held at Plas Dolben, Llangynhafal, LL16 4LN. In order for us to plan appropriately please complete one form for each member who wishes to attend. This event can be attended either mounted or without your horse just to socialise. For those riding there will be 2 guided group rides to cater for those more & less adventurous. The event will run from 11.00am & all those attending the ‘ride’ portion should arrive for 10.30 to be ready for the group set off times. Following the ride there will be a social session – coffee and cake included(or tea) & socialisation with your friends & get to know some new ones to!
We hope to see lots of you there. The event will finish at 4pm. -

£0.00Show Jumping Competition Entry Form, Non-Members, September 2026
The competition will be held at Northop Equestrian Competition Centre 1st class 9.00. From 50cm to 1m classes, it’s a perfect opportunity to check your satnav, make sure your brave pants are big enough and have some fun in the process. Approximate timing will be confirmed by email.
This is a relaxed event to allow confidence building for both horse and rider. The competition is for 18yrs and over only.
This entry form is for members. Please complete one entry form per rider. A rider can, however, enter multiple classes using one entry form. Once complete, the entry form will be added to your basket and you will have the opportunity to enter another horse/rider combination.
Price is £12 clear round & £15 clear round and jump off per class for non members. You can pay for further classes on the day either cash or card machine.
This competition is a Trailblazers Qualifier with qualification cards available to purchase from the organiser, if eligible, on the day. For Flint and Denbigh riding club members, this event is also included in our club league.
We are also running the British Riding Club Showjumping Series (classes 50cm and 60cm only) – Gain 2 clear rounds between December 2025 and September 2026 and have the chance to compete in the championship in October 2026! Please visit the BRC website for more info.
